Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

Prestige HR is recruiting a full-time Electrical Maintenance Technician based in Accra. The technician inspects, maintains and repairs electrical and pneumatic equipment, records faults and supports preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and perform basic maintenance of equipment and electrical panels.
• Diagnose and record electrical faults and follow up on repair activities.
• Monitor equipment readings such as voltage and record them regularly.
• Maintain and repair pneumatic and electrical systems in line with manuals and technical standards.
• Record all maintenance activities and breakdowns in maintenance logs and reports.
• Support preventive-maintenance plans and monitor equipment performance to avoid recurring faults.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in electrical or maintenance work.
• English, able to read technical instructions and fault codes.
• Certifications are not required.

Required skills

• Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Use of electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
• Understanding of classic control systems.
• Attention to detail, good communication, teamwork, problem-solving and ability to work safely under production pressure.
