Field Operations Director

About the role

Complete Farmer is hiring a Field Operations Director, a director-level role reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and managing Regional Commercial Managers, Commercial Operations Managers and the Crop Sourcing Manager. The role is field-based across the company's operating territories, with extensive travel to regional offices, grower communities, commercial farms, aggregation points and fulfilment centres.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute a reliable, scalable and competitively priced supply portfolio that meets approved crop, volume, timing, quality, traceability and unit-economics requirements.
• Turn strategy, buyer demand and crop priorities into an annual and quarterly field supply strategy, with regional targets, cost envelopes and leading indicators.
• Design the supply mix across commercial farmers, cooperatives, Grower Agents, Aggregation Agents and other partners, and maintain a national field capacity model.
• Lead supply planning and S&OP, set supply-funnel stages, review forecasts and maintain primary, secondary and contingency sources.
• Direct Regional Commercial Managers to build territory plans, drive CF Grower adoption and build regional partnerships with cooperatives and institutions.
• Lead the Crop Sourcing Manager in building a diversified, due-diligenced portfolio of farms, aggregators and cooperatives.
• Build farm-gate and origin-cost benchmarks, develop the supply-side cost build-up and recommend sourcing prices and negotiation ranges.
• Monitor markets and competitors, prevent unauthorized commitments and uphold procurement and delegation-of-authority controls.
• Direct Commercial Operations to turn supply plans into campaigns and field actions, run weekly regional reviews and daily control-tower routines, and standardise playbooks and SLAs.
