Graduate Management Trainee – Full Time

About the role

The Graduate Management Trainee programme at Jumia offers a two‑year, hands‑on experience in the commercial team of Africa’s leading e‑commerce platform. You will work directly with top brands, lead real projects from day one and develop a deep understanding of Jumia’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with vendor partners, ensuring their brands are well‑promoted and available on the platform.
• Analyse sales, pricing and assortment data to identify growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain teams to drive sales.
• Lead projects with support from a structured mentoring programme.
• Participate in training sessions, coaching and the graduate network.

Required profile

• First degree from a recognised university, graduating in 2025.
• National Service completed with proof (NSS Certificate or Release Letter).
• At least 3 months of relevant internship experience, preferably in sales, retail, FMCG or account management.
• Commercial mindset, confidence in negotiation and relationship building.
• Comfortable working with numbers and Excel, strong problem‑solving and creativity.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, fluent English and willingness to relocate during the programme.
