Sales Manager – Isolation Valves – Ghana

About the role

The ISV Sales Manager will drive business growth, customer engagement and market expansion for Emerson’s Isolation Valves and Actuation Technologies portfolio across Ghana, focusing on the Mining and Metals industry.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed annual business goals, bookings targets and financial objectives.
• Develop and execute strategic account and site plans for key customers, identifying and closing KOB2 and KOB3 opportunities.
• Drive modernization, upgrade and competitive displacement initiatives and increase market participation within the Mining and Metals sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, positioning Emerson as the preferred technology provider.
• Maintain a healthy project pipeline, update CRM systems and prepare business forecasts, pricing surveys and opportunity reviews.
• Collaborate with local business partners, regional sales teams and other Emerson business units to maximise pull‑through opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5‑7 years of experience in valve sales, business development or related industrial sales roles, preferably within the Metals and Mining industry.
• Proven track record of achieving growth targets and developing strategic accounts.
• Strong commercial awareness, customer engagement capabilities and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to build trusted relationships, influence decision‑makers and collaborate across functions.
