Sales Marketing Officer

About the role

The company, a well‑established optical and eye‑care services provider in Ghana, is looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Officer to drive business growth. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships, and convert conversations into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, prospect and develop new sales and business opportunities.
• Generate and manage leads through structured prospecting and follow‑up.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Support acquisition and management of corporate, institutional and consumer accounts.
• Plan and execute sales promotions, marketing campaigns, activations and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, quotations and other business development materials.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, activities, conversions and sales performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Communications or related field.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, marketing or customer acquisition.
• Strong prospecting, relationship‑building and negotiation skills.
• Confidence in approaching organisations and decision‑makers.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of targets and collaborate across departments.
• Willingness to undertake field visits, prospecting, activations and outreach activities.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic sales/CRM reporting skills.
