Marketing Communications Lead

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and execution‑focused Marketing Communications Lead to drive digital communications across the Sub‑Saharan Africa region for a global direct selling company. You will translate global marketing strategies into regional initiatives that boost brand visibility, protect reputation, and engage audiences on digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional digital communications strategies aligned with global objectives, identifying market opportunities and emerging trends.
• Lead SEO strategy, monitor online brand sentiment, and optimise digital performance using analytics and SEO tools.
• Oversee content strategy across websites, social media, and other digital channels, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and local relevance.
• Manage external agencies from briefing through delivery, maintaining quality and performance standards.
• Track, analyse, and report on digital marketing performance, providing actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field.
• 7–10 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing or communications, with 3–5 years in a leadership or regional role.
• Proven ability to develop and execute digital content and communications strategies.
• Excellent written and spoken English and French.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CMS platforms, especially WordPress.
• Advanced knowledge of SEO and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO).
• Strong digital analytics skills.
• Social media strategy expertise.
