Marketing Representative – Health Insurance

About the role

We are looking for motivated marketers to drive the growth of Apex Health Insurance across selected regions in Ghana. The role involves identifying prospective clients, promoting insurance products, generating leads and building lasting relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
• Promote Apex Health Insurance products and services to individuals, families, groups, and corporate organisations.
• Generate leads through field marketing, referrals, networking and direct sales activities.
• Conduct presentations and explain health insurance benefits to prospective clients.
• Follow up on leads and convert prospects into active clients.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Participate in marketing campaigns, activations, outreach programmes and corporate visits.
• Provide regular reports on sales activities, leads, prospects and market opportunities.
• Gather market intelligence and feedback on customer needs and competitor activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Communications or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales, marketing, business development or customer acquisition is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and results‑oriented.
• Comfortable with field marketing and client visits.
• Reside in or within reasonable commuting distance of the assigned location.
