Regional Sales Agronomist – Ghana

About the role

Yara Ghana is seeking a Sales Agronomist to drive the promotion and adoption of its specialty fertilizer portfolio across the Garu/Zebilla region. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will work closely with distributors, dealers and key customers to increase market penetration and support Ghanaian farmers.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Yara’s specialty fertilizers and increase sales through distributor and dealer networks.
• Develop and execute regional marketing and promotional activities to boost product visibility and brand awareness.
• Collaborate on agronomic studies, field demonstrations and technical evaluations for key crops.
• Identify growth opportunities and expand the premium crop‑nutrition market.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and strengthen Yara’s brand presence in the region.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Crop Science, Soil Science, Agricultural Extension or related field.
• Minimum three years’ experience in a multinational agribusiness or agricultural input company.
• Proven track record in agronomy, crop nutrition, technical sales and farmer engagement.
• Experience planning and delivering field demonstrations, adaptive trials and training programs.
