Sales Manager – Spare Parts (Field Sales), Eastern Region

About the role

The Sales Manager – Spare Parts (Field Sales) will be responsible for driving secondary sales and ensuring parts availability across the Eastern Region. Working closely with dealers, distributors and retailers, you will expand the network, promote genuine parts and achieve market coverage for the company’s portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual spare‑parts sales targets (primary and secondary) for the assigned territory.
• Develop and execute secondary‑sales strategies with distributors, retailers, mechanics and sub‑stockists.
• Identify untapped towns, villages and no‑retailer areas through market mapping and expand the distribution network.
• Promote the right product mix, support liquidation of slow‑moving parts and implement commercial policies and incentive programmes.
• Organise mechanic meets, retailer meetings, van campaigns and road‑shows to raise genuine‑parts awareness.
• Manage credit and collections, ensuring healthy outstanding balances and compliance with credit norms.
• Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing trends and counterfeit parts movement.
• Maintain accurate daily visit plans, order capture and sales tracking using DMS/CRM systems.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline; MBA or Marketing diploma is an advantage.
• 4–8 years of field‑sales experience, preferably in spare parts, auto components, FMCG or lubricants distribution.
• Proven track record in secondary sales, distributor handling and retailer network management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with DMS (Dealer Management System) and CRM tools.
