Sales & Marketing Manager (Hospitality / Catering)

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue growth, expand market share and meet organisational sales targets. The role suits a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in sales management, able to motivate a sales team, build lasting client relationships and use data-driven approaches.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy and planning: develop and run sales plans, analyse market trends, competitors and customer needs, and set and monitor sales targets, KPIs and performance metrics.
• Team leadership: lead, train and coach sales representatives, evaluate individual and team performance and give constructive feedback.
• Client relationship management: build relationships with key clients and partners, identify new clients, oversee negotiation and closing of major deals and contracts.
• Reporting: track and report sales performance and revenue forecasts, and present weekly, monthly and quarterly sales reports to management.
• Collaboration: work with marketing, operations and finance teams, coordinate promotions, campaigns and product launches, and contribute to pricing and customer experience initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field (Master's is an added advantage).
• 3-5 years of proven experience in sales or business development, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Strong knowledge of sales techniques, customer relationship management and market analysis.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and inspire a team, goal-oriented and adaptable to a fast-paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho.
• Proficiency in the MS Office suite.
