Sales Officer – Nutrition and Pharmaceuticals

About the role

The Sales Officer – Nutrition & Pharmaceuticals will drive sales, market penetration, and distribution of the company's pharmaceutical, nutritional, and healthcare products. The role requires a commercially driven professional with solid knowledge of the pharmaceutical and nutrition sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, distributors and retail outlets.
• Generate leads, convert prospects into customers and maintain a strong pipeline.
• Conduct regular customer visits, sales calls and product presentations to healthcare professionals.
• Negotiate sales terms, follow up on quotations, orders, deliveries and payments.
• Monitor customer feedback on product quality, pricing and availability.
• Support distributors with product information and monitor their performance against targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales information.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Nutrition, Biomedical Sciences, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical, nutrition or healthcare sales, with a proven record of achieving targets.
• Experience dealing with pharmacies, hospitals, distributors or retail channels, preferably in Ghana.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with healthcare professionals and key accounts.
