Technical Sales Engineer - Mining

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Technical Sales Engineer to grow Saint‑Gobain’s presence in Ghana’s mining sector. You will promote technical solutions, identify new opportunities and build strong relationships with mining operations, EPC contractors and distributors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets in the mining sector.
• Promote and provide technical support for Saint‑Gobain’s mining product portfolio, including on‑site trials and product demonstrations.
• Manage strategic key accounts, negotiate commercial agreements and ensure timely product availability.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging technologies to recommend new product introductions.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports and customer records using the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Mining, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Geology or Civil Engineering.
• 5–7 years of technical sales, business development or key‑account management experience in mining, mineral processing or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of mining operations, mineral processing and industrial applications in Ghana and West Africa.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills with a commercial mindset.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively across Ghana and the region.
