Senior Specialist, Chenosis (Enterprise Digital Portfolio)

About the role

MTN Ghana is looking for a Senior Specialist for its Chenosis digital portfolio within Enterprise Products and Marketing in Accra. The role manages the lifecycle and commercial performance of the enterprise digital portfolio, driving product adoption, customer growth and digital revenue across enterprise segments. It reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Products and Solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own the digital product roadmap and business case for each product, and manage each product from concept through launch, in-life management and retirement
• Maintain the product catalogue, define requirements for technical and partner teams, and review monthly performance to recommend what to grow, fix, reprice or retire
• Lead go-to-market planning and launch readiness with Marketing, Sales and Technology; bundle digital products with connectivity and converged solutions; review launches at 30, 60 and 90 days against the business case
• Manage product lines such as Data as a Service, Software as a Service, Chenosis, CPaaS, ERP, Fintech for business and other business VAS
• Set pricing and margin proposals for approval, deliver revenue, margin, active-customer and churn targets, and reconcile partner revenue share monthly
• Track competitor offers and customer feedback, secure regulatory approvals, maintain the product risk register and close audit findings

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related discipline
• At least five years of relevant experience in product management, digital services, VAS, fintech or software, with at least three years in telecommunications, ICT or fintech
• Track record of taking digital, VAS or software products from business case to launch and in-life revenue growth
• Experience negotiating with and managing third-party vendors or partners, and working with B2B or SME customers
• Ability to manage several product lines concurrently with limited supervision

Required skills

• Product lifecycle management, business cases, pricing and go-to-market planning
• Agile and scrum product ownership; AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is an advantage
• Digital business models including subscription, usage-based, transaction-fee and revenue-share models
• Working knowledge of SaaS, ERP, APIs, CPaaS, A2P messaging, USSD and mobile money services for business
• Knowledge of the Ghanaian enterprise and SME market, regulatory requirements (NCA, Bank of Ghana, Data Protection Act, Cybersecurity Act) and telecom billing, provisioning and charging concepts
