Community-Based Mobiliser – 10 Open Positions

About the role

Marie Stopes International Ghana is seeking well‑organised, client‑oriented individuals to join the team as Community‑Based Mobilisers (CBM). The CBMs will work in ten pilot districts, engaging households and promoting access to BlueStar health facilities for family planning and sexual reproductive health services.

Key responsibilities

• Visit and educate qualified households on the benefits of using BlueStar facilities.
• Collaborate with the National Health Insurance Agency at registration centres to inform clients.
• Conduct community sensitisation and mobilisation activities in partnership with local health facilities.
• Organise special event days with BlueStar facilities to raise awareness.
• Provide directional support and referral linkages to BlueStar facilities.
• Maintain accurate client records of all outreach activities.

Required profile

• Minimum WASSCE or HND in a relevant field; qualification in community development or social work is essential.
• At least two years of experience in the health sector or community mobilisation.
• Willingness to work in the field, travel to rural communities and interact with diverse groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively in local languages.
• Self‑motivated, innovative, team‑player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Own a functional mobile phone for mobile‑money payments.
• Valid riding licence and access to a motorbike.
